Do I have to be a church member to participate in the Offerings? No. All are welcome.
What is the structure of the morning?
We begin in a circle with a scripture reading and prayer. Then we
dance for 45 minutes. Finally, we close the circle by rereading the
scripture and with prayer.
What do I wear and bring?
Dress comfortably. You may dance with or
without your shoes.
What does it cost?
The Moving Word is an activity sponsored by Shekhinah which
is a ministry of First
Congregational Church. This activity is offered at no charge, but is
supported by your generous donations.
Do I need to have any dance experience
prior to attending?
No. You are invited to come as you are dancing the integration of
music, scripture, and your own rhythm.
